Today our 5th graders visited the 9/11 Memorial in Spanish Fork. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to reflect, learn, and honor the lives lost and the heroes who served on that day. ❤️🤍💙

Our focus story was The Wind in the Willows, and to bring it to life we enjoyed a riverside picnic with Toad, Rat, and Mole–themed snacks. Students made masks of their favorite characters, illustrated their favorite moments, played Wind in the Willows Bingo, and even competed in a relay—hopping like Toad, crawling like Mole, and rowing like Rat. 🐸🐀🐾
It was the perfect way to celebrate reading, imagination, and the joy of classic stories! 💛📚
